Coffee Contemplations

 It's a rainy evening, a week's chaos unwinds, 

Warm coffee-cupped hand, a gentle heat I seek.

Raindrops whisper secrets, a rhythm on the pane,

Soothing lullaby that eases pounding heart's refrain.

My soul craves this solace, a daily dose, I seek, 

The rain's soft symphony, a book, a cup of tea. 

This simple, tranquil haven, a yearning deep inside, 

A dream for life's twilight, where weary thoughts subside.
